GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL narra le avventure di Gustave H, leggendario concierge di un lussuoso e famoso albergo europeo, e di Zero Moustafa, un fattorino che diviene il suo più fidato amico. Sullo sfondo il furto e il recupero di un celebre dipinto rinascimentale, la violenta battaglia per impadronirsi di un’enorme fortuna di famiglia ed una dolce storia d’amore. Il tutto tra le due guerre, mentre il continente è in rapida e radicale trasformazione.
